The Train Yard
I recently found a fantastic venue to shoot at while taking a few shots of my 1986 Nissan 300zx. This place is great, our little subject could not stop talking and pointing to all the surrounding train related items. We found everything from rustic stock yard buildings, to rail spikes. A great place for a young train enthusiast.

Mom & Me
Tonight, my wife and our little one were having a great time sitting and playing on the couch. I’ve been experimenting with the right balance between shutter speed, aperture, and more importatly…ISO settings. I like the pictures to be crisp, and free of noise whenever possible. Tonight I pulled myself from that bubble and tried to work with ISO 400 and 800 and then use Lightroom to create a vintage effect utilizing that noise. The focal point with a f/2.0 turned out well once my preset was saved to my pictures. I want to try using a program called Noise Ninja to work on the noise when I need to use higher ISO settings.
